Summer at Poppels Citybryggeri
Welcome to Poppels Citybryggeri, a brewery and restaurant in the Gothenburg city centre!
We offer a wide range of craft beer from Poppels Bryggeri, and we brew our own signature pilsner on site. This summer, we have created a special version of our pilsner to celebrate Gothenburg’s 400th anniversary, and it is available at 0,5 litres for 50 SEK, all summer long.
We are open Tuesday–Saturday, 2 pm–10.30 pm
Craft beer and pizza
Our summer menu focuses on pizza al taglio in a wide variety of styles and flavours that will suit young and old alike. We also have an extensive snack menu with smaller dishes perfect for a quick bite to go along with your beer.
We also have a very popular sharing menu, six dishes that the whole table share, attractively priced at 395 SEK per person. Beer and wine packages that are paired with the food are available.
During the summer we offer free tours of our brewery. The tour starts at 3 pm every day, Tuesday–Saturday.
This is Poppels
Poppels Bryggeri has grown to become Sweden’s second largest craft brewery since its start in 2013. Today the brewery operates two restaurants, Poppels Öl&Mat located at the brewery in Jonsered (ten minute train ride from Gothenburg central station), and since 2022, Poppels Citybryggeri in Gothenburg.
